Drawing fantasy sea creatures with marine scientist Belle McCarthy
10am – 12 noon 6 – 9 years old $15 per student
Discover some of the weird and wonderful creatures that really do live beneath the ocean waves. Then design and create your own fantastic 2D sea creature and friends.

Beehive buildings with secret spaces with tutor Mala Henderson
10am – 1pm 5- 8 yrs $22 per student
Plan and build a mini beehive town, using clay, plasticine, & sticks. Map out streets and add pathways, laneways, walls and mazes and don’t forget beehive gardens for baby bees to play in.

Beeded butterflies and crepe paper gardens with tutor Trish Hickey
10am – 1pm 6-9 yrs $15 per student
Make a three dimensional butterfly and then create a crepe paper and cardboard garden as a home for your beautiful new rainbow winged creature.

Students will work both in the exhibitions and in the art studio with their art tutor, Sarah Birtles. Students will be introduced to a variety of art making materials, techniques and styles, learning new skills and developing existing skills even further. For young artists who are keen to extend their skills and knowledge. Suitable for returning as well as new students. Workshops will include drawing, collage, clay sculpture and painting. All materials supplied.
